Case Study: Diagnosing Choroidal Hemoangiama
In this Wills Eye resident case study authored by Jordan Deaner, MD and Carol Shields, MD, a 10-year old patient with blurry vision in one eye was presented. B-scan was used in conjunction with fundus photography and OCT to diagnose the condition, with the B-scan demonstrating an inferior detached retina and a solid echodense choroidal mass. Post-treatment, the B-scan showed resolution of the retinal detachment and a reduction of the choroidal mass. Click here to view the case study
