What is the A biometry?
The A method is an ultrasonic one-dimensional scan that allows you to obtain a graphic image of the structures of the eye 👁
The principle is based on the partial reflection of ultrasonic waves from structures and their registration in the form of peaks.
The distance between the peaks depends on the time of passage of the sound wave to the surface of the intraocular structures and back to the emitter 📈
The height of the peak is proportional to the sound density of the tissue and characterizes the amplitude of the reflected wave 📊
